Sunshine Experience

The Sunshine Experience has just been launched this month in the Island Spa and is the perfect treatment to prepare for Summer.

It begins with a Lemon, Orange and Lychee Body Scrub, which  will leave your skin nourished and revitalised. The Lychee’s in this Body Scrub are rich in enzymes which allow for an extremely effective exfoliation.

Once the skin has been prepared and exfoliated, your therapist will begin the Orange and Apricot energising Body Wrap. The ingredients in the wrap include Orange, Apricot Rosemary, Lavender, Grapefruit and Lemon. The warmed mixture is applied all over the body, which is then wrapped in a warm blanket. 

The experience is concluded with the application of a Lemon and Orange oil focusing on Shiatsu Pressure Points. This will promote a deep sense of relaxation which further hydrating the skin and nourishing the cells.

Shiatsu is the secret bodywork of the East, derived from ancient Chinese medicine. It is based on the balancing of meridian points in the body to release feel good hormones, endorphins, thus creating a feel good factor. Each meridian is made up of a Yin (male) and Yang (female) component. Our treatment works with the kidney meridian (Ying) and the bladder meridian (yang). By balancing this meridian we put the body into a state of equanimity and balance. By working the Shiatsu points we immediately release the hormone endorphin which has a sedating effect and promotes and feeling of well being.

Diamond Ritual

A Body Exfoliation using the powder of pure diamond power followed by a softening Honey & Milk Body Wrap for shimmering silk skin. A Diamond Body Exfoliation will prepare your skin to absorb the nourishment from our Honey & Milk Body Wrap for shimmering silk skin. The ritual is completed with an application of an Enriched Body Cream.

Island Spa Tropical Ritual

Island Spa Signature Treatment, exclusive to Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, aiming to bring the feel good factor back. Our Exotic Vanilla & Coconut Exfoliation Ritual will invigorate and revitalize the skin. This treatment will deep cleanse, polish and soften the skin. We begin by applying the Vanilla and Coconut body polish to remove dead skin cells and impurities boosting cellular renewal. The journey continues with our Coconut Ocean Float envelopment, hydrating and nourishing the cells. Your truly tropical experience will be completed with a gentle massage using a blend of Jasmine & Vanilla leaving you with a sweet exotic fragrance.

Grape Regeneration Ritual

Our Grape Regeneration Ritual will leave you feeling mentally and physically revitalized. Treat your skin to a journey of renewal and your mind will follow! We begin with a Grape Body Polish using a combination of grape extract and avena cream to exfoliate tired skin and prepare it for our luxurious Grape Body Wrap. The refined grape extract will hydrate and nourish the skin and help to recapture the firmness of youthful skin. The final stage of this ritual is a Grape Oil Application using our specially blended refined grape body oil, which revitalizes and refreshes tired skin.

Chocolate Sensualite Ritual

This ultimate pampering experience will leave your body replenished, refreshed and in complete harmony with your mind. The sensual experience begins with a relaxing Chocolate Body Polish using a chocolate, orange and marine salt combination. The experience continues with a melting Chocolate Body Wrap followed byour specially blended ‘sensualité oil’. The mix of cardamom and ginger will stimulate your senses as well as harmonise your body and spirit.

Golden Glow Ritual

The Golden Glow ritual is our most decadent experience to date. We promise you will leave feeling like a true Princess. Firstly submerge yourself in a Cleopatra Milk Bath and allow the bubbles to nourish and soften the skin.
