Lisselan Golf Club is one of the most challenging and picturesque course. It was opened to the public in 1994 by Christy O’Connor Snr with a new extension opened for play in 2004.
For the first ten years the course was available exclusively for green fees and gained much international acclaim with golf travel writers, sporting personalities and the general golf playing public. In 2004, Lisselan Golf Club was formed with the course open to green fees and members seven days a week.
The par 72 layout for Ladies consists of 4 par 5, 4 par 3 and 10 par 4. The par 73 layout for Gents consists of 5 par 5, 4 par 3 and 9 par 4 holes. Old Head Golf Course
Old Head Golf Links Kinsale is built on a 220-acre diamond of land, jutting out over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean.
The promontory is almost an island with numerous caves running beneath your feet as you play.
The links and practice area occupy 180 acres and the remaining 40 acres of unspoilt cliff (rising in places to over 300 feet) frame the course. Old Head, par 72, comprises five Par 5s, five Par 3s and eight Par 4s – stretching to over 7,200 yards from the tips with a minimum of six tees per hole.
