We really enjoyed our stay at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa; we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Our room was luxurious and spacious. The spa treatments and facilities were excellent - we are already looking forward to our next visit!
The staff of this Hotel are among the best that I've ever dealt with. they were courteous and genuinely seemed interested in making the stay as good as possible. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who asked or otherwise
We were here 8 yrs ago and delighted to be back. Excellent facilities and a great spot. Staff are friendly and efficient and rooms very comfortable. Hopefully not so long before a return stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa. The rooms are a good size and well appointed and guest facilities are excellent. All food outlets are of a high standard but prices are reasonable. The spa facilities are excellent and I am only sorry we were not there longer as I would have loved the time to walk around the cliffs and beach. A most enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this property.
We arrived on Sunday at 1pm and left today at 12noon. Every moment we spent there we enjoyed. The breakfast was unreal and the hot food on the menu was the best I have ever eaten. The staff in all areas of the Hotel were friendly helpful and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We used the beautiful spa and the girls there were very professional the treatments we had were fantastic. The sea water heated pool with all the different jets ect was so therapeutic and brillant for skin. All in all I will definitely go back.
Thank you, we had a great stay, shame it was only one night whilst touring! The Room was ideal & with the addition of the Balcony a delight! The views over the beaches were to dream about. A great Hotel, great food & excellent service. An hotel not to miss.
very nice , best hotel that we have stayed in In Ireland over the the last 10 years
Excellent location. Friendly staff. Very good food. Well-appointed clean rooms. Lovely array of artefacts throughout the hotel.
Inchydoney was a perfect getaway to kick off our honeymoon. We stayed 3 nights, took advantage of the delicious full Irish breakfast, and enjoyed the pub in the lodge for dinner. We were both able to experience the ocean first hand and the views were spectacular. The staff was very helpful and nice when we needed anything. Should we ever travel to Ireland again, this would be a must stop especially once we have children.
Fabulous stay, all the staff were extremely helpful and any extra request they were more than helpful to accommodate. I surprised my boyfriend for his 30th birthday with a one night mid week stay, the salt water pool was one of our favourite amenities. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay.
Myself, my wife and 2 young boys really enjoyed our 4 days here. The staff could not do enough for us and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Location is excellent. We will for sure come back again, just a great few days. The surf and Turf in Dunes is amazing. Dont leave without trying it. :-)
A little piece of heaven.Lovely hotel,friendly staff.Great stay.
This is a great resort in a beautiful location. The thing that impressed me the most was the service given by the wonderful staff working at all times to ensure that each individual visitor is looked after perfectly. They all smile constantly and are more than helpful. Highly recommended & I will most definitely revisit.
Perfect on every visit ,can't fault anything as usual, looking forward to next visit
Wonderful stay with lovely staff Thanks
We had a wonderful and were very well looked after. A suggestion a range of different seating in particular in the bedrooms as the chairs in our room are very low and no arms to assist us in getting up from them
It was fantastic from start to finish, the rooms were clean and very comfortable with a complimentary bottle of water, Nespresso coffee and bathrobes. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.
Fantastic location. Wonderful breakfast and I had a lovely spa experience with Jenny with whom I had my best ever treatment! We would return in a heartbeat
Copy of my TripAdvisor Review... I was privileged to spend 5 gloriously relaxing days at Inchydoney Hotel and Spa. First impressions can make or break a holiday and it was that first impression of stepping out of the car, looking at the beautiful unspoilt beach with the Atlantic waves rolling in and then going in to the foyer of a spotlessly clean hotel to be met by a very friendly young woman called Kellie who invited us to have a seat and a drink whilst reception checked that our room was ready that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The high standards both of friendliness and cleanliness were replicated throughout the hotel. The room contained both a very large double bed and a single bed and both were comfortable though firm. There was an Nespresso in the room however when I mentioned at breakfast that I missed a kettle for tea Joyce (the young woman who looked after us at breakfast) said she would sort that out – she did – when we went back to the room there was a kettle! There was also a fridge in the room which could be used to keep fresh milk etc. Breakfast was a veritable feast with both hot and cold buffet plus assorted items you could order of the menu; fruit and cereal was in plentiful supply and I developed a weakness for the mini chocolate muffins, whereas my friend thoroughly enjoyed the walnut bread. Joyce was both friendly and helpful and always cheerful, indeed throughout the hotel we found that all staff were pleasant and friendly and nothing appeared to be too much bother for them. Food in the Dunes bar as well as in the guest lounge was excellent and the menu was rich and varied however I did miss some more plain food and was disappointed that Sunday lunch did not contain at least one traditional dish. Preferring plain food meant that we did not dine in the main restaurant which was the only slight negative of our experience. A major plus was that each evening someone called at your room to see if you needed any extras i.e. water, towels etc plus you were given a delicious cream chocolate. I came away from Inchydoney with lovely memories of beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodation and staff who appeared to genuinely to want to make your stay memorable. My only question was how such a splendid hotel was a 4* when it offered a 5* experience. My only wish is that management of some of the other 4* hotels I have visited recently would spend a few days at Inchydoney and see how it should be done
What a wonderful friendly place to relax.the staff were exceptional as was the lodge itself .as for the area I don't think a nicer place to stay could be found .wed absolutely loved it and with any luck be returning as much as we can
Why this hotel isn't 5 star I don't know. Great staff, great food, 1st class entertainment sat night, superb location and nice rooms. Couldn't have asked for more.
Wonderful friendly staff that go out of their way to make your stay so enjoyable.
Lovely staff. Food in Dunnes bar was amazing. I had a deep muscle massage and it really took all the stress out of me. I would have gotten into the pool sooner if I had known it was going to be so refreshing. The room was clean and a nice touch was there was chocolate on our pillows before bedtime!
As a returning guest I had high expectations for this visit albeit that it is Sven years since my previous visit. I was not disappointed, the welcome at reception was exceptional. Although we had booked an apartment and not a room in the hotel all the staff that helped us in the spa, residents lounge, reception and dunes bar treated us very well and were very helpful. I will definitely be returning and hope not to leave it so long this time.
Superb location, lovely staff and will definitely be back!
My wife and I stayed in your fabulous hotel this weekend. We had an amazing time. The hotel team, room, facilities, setting and food were all outstanding. In particular guest manager Julie was super helpful, friendly and extremely professional. We have stayed before and will definitely be back. A huge thank you to all the team
Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff.
It was the best stay I have ever had the staff so helpful and friendly The most relaxing holiday yet I would give it 10 out of 10 would highly recommend it
Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Ireland. The room was great, the surroundings spectacular, the restaurant excellent. The staff, however, were exceptional. Really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in a very special place. Excellent food and better service. Staff from the reception team to the girls cleaning the rooms - which were spotless- extremely friendly and helpful. Very comfortable with fantastic views from every room. Will definitely be back.
Had a great time food superb at the bar girls could not have been better with the treatments we got at the spa thoroughly enjoyed the break
Best hotel for total relaxation and food is excellent, everything within the hotel allows your stay to be complete.
My wife Susan and I had a most enjoyable stay in your beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived until we left , all the staff were courtious and friendly. The food, room and spa were first class , and we just loved the turn down service . We will definitely be back later in the summer . Thank you . Michael Byrne
I visited Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa about 10 years ago. I thought the stay lived up to previous experiences. Really welcoming staff and great facilities. The spa and treatment centre were superb, great positive attitude, Dana really knew her stuff and carried out two fab treatments. During the stay there were no problems at any level. Will definitely return again as soon as possible.
Staff are excellent and room and food are excellent to
Stunning location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable accommodation
Myself, my husband and our son (aged 10) are just back after spending the weekend in Inchydoney to celebrate a significant birthday of mine !! We had an absolutely fantastic weekend. The location of the hotel is amazing surrounded on both sides by beautiful beaches. I can't speak more highly of the whole Inchydoney experience ! From the minute we walked through the door on arrival until the time we left we were made to feel so welcome and pampered. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival and when we got to our beautiful room there were chocolates and a "Happy Birthday" plate laid out for me with a hand written note from a member of staff welcoming us and wishing me a happy birthday (Thank you Reuben !!). We spent the weekend relaxing in the pool (which is amazing), the spa and the residents lounge. My son particularly liked the pool and the snooker room with its full sized snooker table. I really loved the spa. Every member of staff that we came across over the course of the weekend was lovely - making an effort to engage in conversation and offer assistance at all times. They made our stay even more special. We didn't want to leave when it was time to come home and the gift of a lovely pot of homemade jam was much appreciated. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Inchydoney Lodge and Spa.
This was a surprise holiday for my husbands birthday and we weren't sure what to expect as we've never visited Ireland before or stayed in a spa hotel. The area was recommended to us by friends living in West Cork and we were very impressed on arrival, with the ease of checking in, friendliness of the staff and ability to get seast for late lunch in the Dunes bistro bar, even when the six nations was being shown. The apartments were clean, tidy, practical and the views amazing. Housekeeping was great and tended to any request without delay or bother. The facilities are a great asset, particularly when the weather is inclement. My boys enjoyed the pool, games room and reading room although we only used them once or twice. The hotel is situated in a fantastic Bay and the beach is beautiful, great for walks and running too, not forgetting surfing. Easy access to the Wild Atlantic Way with Mizen Head an hour one way and Cork 40-5 minutes the other. We would highly recommend Inchydoney for families and found this time of year perfect for us. We'll definitely return to see more of this beautiful country with inchydoney as our base.
Thank you so much for the surprise 'Happy Birthday' welcome platter in our room for my husbands 40th. Lovely surprise! Everything top class as usual. A few decoration changes since our last visit which are lovely.
All staff were very pleasant and helpful . We got a lovely welcome the night we arrived and a nice glass of Irish mist . Breakfast was exceptional . Great views of sea from bastion also
Fabulous stay so relaxing staff and food top class. Can't wait to go back
VERY RELAXING. LOVELY STAFF VERY HELPFUL. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL AND LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING AGAIN SOMETIME.
We came to Inchydoney for my birthday and it was the best ever. The hotel facilities are excellent. Loved the heated sea water pool and relaxation areas. The food is top class but the the staff are the icing on the cake.....friendly, courteous and responsive and a credit to the irish tourist industry.. Ar fheabhas ar fad.
Fantastic hotel.... Food is superb and the staff are very friendly. The attention to detail of the decor and art makes this a very special place
Wonderful friendly staff, excellent facilities. We will defiantly be back in the futire
excellent hotel and spa
Everything lived up to and exceeded expectations but nothing more so than the staff. I have never met a group of staf who could not do enough to help you throughout the whole visit. We will definately be back to this beautiful place.
Great staff and hospitality service.
