The centrepiece of the hotel and often cited as guests favourite area, the Lounge is an oasis of luxury and calm. We invite you to relax by the open fire with a book or enjoy a game of chess in the Library. Guests enjoying the Island Spa can feel free roam in a fluffy robe and enjoy lunch without having to dress for the occasion.

Afternoon is served here daily from 3pm and is an unforgettable experience. Treat yourself to some of the delicacies on the tiered stand over a fresh pot of tea, or add some bubbles to the afternoon for that special occasion with our Champagne Afternoon Tea.

Prior to dinner enjoy a cocktail or aperitif as you peruse the menu over Chefs Evening Canapés and after your meal the tinkling on the piano will draw you back to the Lounge to retire and enjoy that night cap from our extensive menu.
